Electronic mail groups are an important part of business concern living, yet Apple's iOS offers none substantiate for them.

So what happens if you want to send a message to, pronounce, everyone in the marketing department, or a prime batch of customers? If you're using an iPhone or iPad, you have little selection but to manually select their email addresses, nonpareil after another.

Until Orchard apple tree corrects this crying oversight (and perhaps even after), look no further than MailShot.

This ingenious app lets you work up email dispersion groups, so adds those groups to your address book, where they're accessible from all other apps. It's even Siri-friendly.

The app is a breeze to utilize. First, you produce a group (Sales Team, for example), and then prefer the contacts you want to add thereto radical.

You can pull names from your middleman list (either one after another surgery exploitation a checklist) or enter addresses manually via the Importation selection.

When you're through with, MailShot adds that group to your Contacts app. When the time comes to frame an email, you simply start typing the discover of that group or choose it from the contacts heel, same as you would an individual address.

It's precisely because MailShot leverages the Contacts app that it workings with Siri. Indeed if you have a group called, say, Productive Team, you can tell Siri to "base an email to Ingenious Team," and she'll set one up that's addressed to that group. Sweet.

The free edition of MailShot lets you make up to three groups, each with up to 5 contacts. Spring for the Pro version, which costs all of $3.99, and the group limit rises to 100, each with 100 or more contacts. (The developer rightly notes that some ISPs limit the maximum number of recipients for any minded e-mail).

I recall that's cardinal bucks incredibly cured spent.

The newly free 2.0 version adds support for Exchange speak books, increased control o'er which name and address Holy Writ is secondhand, Retina support for the new iPad, and other helpful tweaks.

It's pretty ridiculous that yet in version 5, iOS lacks support for something as unsubdivided — and semiprecious — every bit e-mail distribution groups. Thankfully, there's an app for that, and it's amazing.
